MIDI SKIRT: HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT FIT

MIDI SKIRT: HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT FIT

Summertime. Hot temperatures. Rooftop parties. It is time to take the skirts out of the closet. But what kind of skirts? Mini, pencil, boho... So many options. What if you do not like any of these? Well, I may have a solution for you, my darling: the midi skirt.

First of all, what is a midi skirt? A half-calves length skirt that widens at the bottom. It is usually pleated. The midi skirt is a good and not so common option to look elegant and edgy. The only matter is to find the perfect fit for you in terms of shape, colors and textures. Choosing the wrong one can become quickly unflattering. And no one wants you to look average - at least not me. No, no, no! I want you to look confident and outstanding!

So focus and make sure your eyes are wide open. Here are all the tips and tricks to look amazingly gorgeous wearing a midi skirt.

To look amazing wearing a midi skirt, there are few tips and tricks you need to take into consideration.

#1. Try it before buying it: Midi skirts are not easy to wear. To look flawless, the shape of the skirt should correspond to your body. Be careful, this type of skirt tends to make you look larger than you really are if it is not well fitted.

#2. It doesn't have to be expensive to look fabulous: You know it by now, it is all about the shape. So instead of seeking the perfect fit in some expensive stores, go have a look in more mainstream brands. You might have a good surprise. For example, mine is from Zara. I recommend you try a few before buying one. Maybe from different price range too. This way you'll be able to choose the right one! Brilliant, isn't it?

#3. Play with colors and textures: A midi skirt requires colors. But it is better if you had a little texture too. Go for suede, denim, leather. For the colors, I recommend metallic, blue, red or brown shades. It should be a statement. You must steal the show! So go for it, little rockstar!

#4. Wear it with heels: As a midi skirt is a statement piece and not really close to the body, I truly recommend you wear heels to make you look taller and slimmer. If you want to avoid the classic combo midi skirt-stiletto, go for low boots. They will make you look more modern and rock'n'roll.
