UNLEASH THE INNER VAMP
Everybody has in mind an image of a vamp. But, what is a vamp? The common definition says it is a woman causing the loss of others by seducing them. Let's not be so dramatic, even though drama feels good, we won't cause anyone's loss. I mean you can do whatever you want, that's on you!
Unleash the inner vamp in you!
To me, being a vamp is about the attitude and the outfit. It's a dramatic silhouette. I envision it as a dark look, with red lips and a strong attitude. It is kind of empowering. To unleash your inner vamp and don't look like the clothes are wearing you, you need to have fun and to feel confident. You have to experience a feeling of power. Trust me you will attract people's eyes.
Dramatic is fun. Let's be dramatic! Have fun with your outfit, even for a day.
I unleashed my inner vamp according to my vision. What is yours? I would be glad to know what is vamp to you. How would you style it? Write it in the comments section. Here is the way I styled my vamp silhouette.

If this style inspires you and you want to reproduce it or part of it, here are some tricks and tips.
Be careful with proportions: In order to style an harmonious silhouette, you have to pay attention to the proportions. You are probably going to wear high heels. If that's so, you need to tone it a bit down to with a coat or a long jacket. In a way, it adds drama, but no vulgarity. That's the goal and that's also what is difficult about the vamp look. It is super easy to cross the thin line of vulgarity. Good proportions are a super easy way to avoid it.
Be dramatic: I don't ask you to declaim Shakespeare or to faint on the sidewalk with your hand on your forehead. No way! I am telling you to choose clothes that add some drama to your outfit. When it came to style my look, I carefully selected a wide-brimmed hat, a long jacket and leather thigh boots. All of them in black or super dark blue. The mix of leather and dark colors gave this outfit a powerful aspect. Moreover the fluid fabrics of the hat and the jacket complete this impression by giving movements to the silhouette. When I was walking, the jacket fluttered in the wind behind me.
The accessories and colors issues: The vamp style is supposed to be profound, empowering. So, I recommend you to go with dark colors for the general silhouette. It doesn't have to be black. If you prefer navy blue, dark grey, go for it. You have to be comfortable to be confident in the end - trust me the colors help a lot. I'm a black-clothes kind of person, but you might like a different color, then choose this color. Once again the look shall not wear you. It is an version of yourself, not the way round. After choosing the color, it comes to the accessories to complete the look by either toning it down or creating a rupture. Look at the hat, ok it is wide but still in the dark range of colors I chose when doing the styling. However, to create a rupture in the black monotony, I picked a large gold bracelet, which added some preciosity to the outfit. I recommend you select one or two accessories maximum to break the unicolor silhouette. Trust me you don't want to go over the top and end up dressed up like a pimp!
What about the make up?: Alright guys, this is the tricky part. Remember when I said you don't want to look vulgar. Make-up is usually the guilty one, when creating a vamp style. You have liner, red lipstick, eye shadows, and so on. What is my recommendation? Use everything... but with moderation - exactly like wine from monday to thursday, come on we all know that moderation is not applicable on friday and weekends! Whatever. To go back to make-up, first do a clear and flawless stain. Orange is clearly not a option! Then use a red lipstick, you can use all the nuances of red. Just take care that you do not put to much of it. Apply it in small touches - you can use your index or a brush if it is easier - to create a "bitten lips" effect. If you want to put more of it, wait to do the eyes. I recommend you use an nude eye shadow to give texture to your pupils, then apply the liner and the mascara. The proportion and the shape of the liner on your eyes will define if you should apply more lipstick or not. If you decide to accentuate the eyes, instead of the lips, you can add a little touch of khôl pencil.
