LOULOU: A RESTAURANT IN THE LOUVRES
There are few places in Paris which have special atmospheres. One of a kind atmosphere. They are witness of the history of the city. One of those places is the Louvres.
It used to be a palace back in time. In the contemporary era, it is one of the most iconic museums, where you can see masterpieces - hello Mona Lisa!
The Louvres is actually divided in two museums. The second one, located in the wing near Rue de Rivoli, is the Arts Décoratifs museum. This one proposes off the beaten tracks exhibitions usually on craftsmanship and fashion. A total must see!
In the same wing, there a newly opened restaurant: Loulou. I went there to celebrate a birthday and I wasn't disa ppointed. Loulou has all the elements to make you enjoy an epic meal! A view, a cosy atmosphere, drinks and ... yes delicious food!

Atmosphere, atmosphere...: Well... Where do I start? If you can picture the Louvres, you will under how one-of-kind the atmosphere is. You literally have lunch or diner in the mythic museum. The interior design is classy and cosy. It is a perfect location to celebrate with friends and family.
How yummy is it?: If you are a truffle lover, you will be in heaven! I am one, so I can tell the food is awesome. I tried the ham and truffle fried eggs as starter and the truffle and beef tartare as main course. I also had a bite of the truffle pizza. It is delicious. And I had a millefeuille for dessert. Totally full but totally happy. One of the most delicious cooking I tasted in a long time!
What about the service?: Perfectly in harmony with the atmosphere of restaurant. The waiters are polite and welcoming. The service of Loulou is absolutely in impeccable. You will never feel rushed. So feel free to cozy up and enjoy your time!
