3 COATS - 3 STYLES: THE FALL WINTER HITS!

3 COATS - 3 STYLES: THE FALL WINTER HITS!

Summer flies so quickly. It's so unfair. At least when you're like me and only love sunny seasons. The only positive point - and we want to remain positive darling - of the days getting colder is that you can final take all the amazing coats and jackets out of your closet!

Lately, I was lucky enough to discover new designer brands, with amazing winter/fall collections. So what did I do? I selected 3 coats - a sheepskin coat, a satin bomber and a colorful jacket - of very different styles. Then? I became a bit schizophrenic and style them in 3 ways. Why? So you can get inspire by the one that match most your silhouette, tastes and spirit.

Isn't it a nice surprise? I hope you'll love the different silhouette and that they'll inspire you in creating your future looks! Here are all the details you need to know when elaborating this styles.

If these styles inspires you and you want to reproduce it or part of it, here are some tricks and tips.

COLORFUL JACKET:

I love a colorful jacket. I loooooove it. Why? It is a game changer. A good colorful jacket is a real statement about your style. First, because you have to own it. No one wants to look trapped in its clothes, so you better feel confident when wearing a colorful piece of clothing. Secondly, colors and textures are an amazing combo!

My recommendation is to be playful. Colors require a bit of a sense of self-mockery. Bringing some humour to your style is a way to stand out. For example for the silhouette above, I wanted to go for the extravaganza. So I picked some gold rings and sunglasses, a satined legging and studded boots. It is fun and playful. And it corresponded to my mood at that time.

Remember fashion is about feeling confident and having fun with your image. Perfection is good, but so boring! And you know what? We don't have time to be boring my darling!

SHEEPSKIN COAT

This is my winter essential. The coat that you can disappear in - just kidding! I am obsessed with sheepskin coats and jacket and black. Yes, black is always a good option, especially when it comes to leather. So when I ran into this sumptuous Alyx Studio coat, I had to show it to you my dear.

This coat has definitely a rock vibe. So even though it can match with almost everything, I wanted to explore that direction. So I created a kind dark, really intense silhouette. I selected a black faux-leather skinny pants, black Doc Martens and a golden spiked bracelet.

However, I wanted to add a twist. A kind of opposite-stance, which would give another dimension to this look. I wanted to bring precious elements. So I picked a bright red jumper with Swarovski crystal and very classy black and gold varnished sunglasses. Oh and did you notice? The shoes are also varnished. And this is not a coincidence my dear!

SATIN BOMBER

For this final look, I wanted to explore the streetwear trend. I totally went out of my comfort zone. But I have to say it was fun and I might go for it more often. I truly believe fashion and style is all about experimenting. And that clearly what I did with this particular look.

As you may know, bomber are one of my fall basic. So I had to do a silhouette showcasing a bomber. I decided to go for an oversized one, which recall menswear. As I picked a rusty satined jacket, I decided to complete the look with more toned down elements, such as a kaki sweatpants and a black t-shirt. To add funny and funky touch to this look - final touch -, I wore with heeled boots and futuristic Mykita sunnies - I am obsessed with them! And that was it! Easy don't you think?
