Style is about experimenting. Trying new associations. Making improbable matches. Some will succeed or will be major failure. The thing is to keep daring with your style to never be boring or worst get bored. The twists may reside in small elements of your looks, such as rococo-inspired jewels or accessories, or in statement piece of clothing.

But what if you don't have a major statement clothes or jewels? Then create a disruptive match, like the one you see in magazines editorials. What do I mean by disruptive match? Well. Association that at first sight you would not make, such as sandals and socks, lingerie over a t-shirt or a dress and pants.

Now you know where I am heading, since the post's title is "Dress and trousers: could this be a perfect match?". The answer to the question is yes, my dear. It can be a perfect match, if you put the right dress with the right trousers. In the end it will always come down to how the style the overall outfit, to how you create harmony from chaos.

If you want to reproduce this look, here are some tips and tricks for you.

Twist the way you wear the clothes: I repeat twist, twist, twist the way you wear the clothes. And by the "way you wear", I mean the traditional, the obvious way to wear them. To create my statement match, I selected an Aalto International dress that could be defined as a shirt dress, since it is buttoned in the front. Why did I picked it? Well because of the fact that thanks to the button I could transform the dress in my way to wear it into a sort of trench. How? I just unbuttoned from the bottom to the waist. This way it create an unexpected vibe about this outfit, but also it showcased the leather trousers I picked to complete the match. Remember: The twist is essential when matching two clothes that normally you probably wouldn't put together. You have to be disruptive to be stylish on this one!

Accessories are essential: For this particular silhouette, accessories are really the key to elevate it. Accessories are here to add craziness. It is normal to be a bit over-the-top. It is the spirit of this outfit. For the silhouette I created, I picked golden sunglasses designed by the amazing designer Berhnard Wilhem for Mykita, Casanera's wing-shaped earrings, found in Corsica last summer, composed of several pieces of glass and a bright orange Mansur Gavriel. The point is to stand out and to be bold. Did you have a look to the shoes? Yes! Then you got my point. It is time to be edgy and fierce my darling!

What about the make up?: For this look, I recommend you go for a natural shades, since there is a lot of information already. No need to add more! The important point is to work on you stain. It needs to be flawless. Concerning the lips, I recommend to go for light orange or pink shade. The idea is to look natural with just a light touch of color to create a "heathy glow" effect. For the eyes, choose nude eyeshadows. Finish the beauty look, by applying a dark volumizing mascara.
