CLINIQUE POP LIPSTICK REVIEW
Am I obsessed with makeup? If having an obsession is using something on a daily basis, then yes I am obsessed with makeup. Why am I using it? Darling, you probably don't want to see my no makeup face - kidding.. maybe not!
The purpose of this post is clearly not to debate the use of makeup. As I am addicted to it, there would be a subsequent lack of objectivity. This being said, my aim in reviewing new products is to make you discover them, but first and foremost to try them for you - and me too!
This week, I tried the brand new lipstick of Clinique: the Pop lipstick. The promise? Give an intense shade to your lips, while keeping them moisturized at the same time.

THE REVIEW
The thing that stroke me the most when I first applied the Clinique Pop lipstick is the texture. Super comfortable. It is almost as soft as the vaseline I usually use to repair my lips. That's a super nice point. Sometimes lipstick can be a bit dry especially for the mate shades.
Then I must they the intensity of the shade is amazing. Clinique kept its promise of intensity... But what about the moisturizing part? Fulfilled with success! It was quite a surprise for me, as many lipstick are said moisturizing without really being. So I looked for info about the Clinique Pop, I found out that its formula is composed of Shea and Murmuru butters which both have moisturizing properties.
Would I recommend? 100%! It is the kind of product everyone seeks for, especially lipstick lovers. It is colorful, moisturizing, intense and long-lasting. Perfect for makeup addicts!

What kind of look?: The Clinique Pop lipstick makes your lips really, really, really present. So you need to have a really light makeup to keep an harmonious look. To show off the intensity of the lipstick shade, I go for natural look. For the look on the picture, I used a light cushion, a black khôl and mascara and some nude eyeshadows.
How to choose the color of your Clinique Pop?: Everyone will need a different color! Because everybody has different: skin tone, hair color, style, attitude,... Those will influence the shade that will suit you the best. For the look on the picture, I used a bright red shade: Poppy Pop. If you're not comfortable with this color, go for oranges, browns or pinks. Oh and please don't be shy! Ask some piece of advice to the salesman or your friends, they will be more objective than you.
