MAYBELLINE VIVID MATTE LIQUID REVIEW
Liquid lipstick. The first time I heard about liquid lipstick was a few years ago when I lived in New York. I have to say that I didn't get the difference between a gloss and a liquid lipstick. I know what you think? Such a rookie... I agree I was one, but not anymore!
Lately, many mainstream beauty companies launched there liquid lipstick. So I though it was time to review one of them. I chose the Vivid Matte Liquid of Maybelline. Why? For one simple reason, as I use in my daily life some of their products, I know that the quality is amazing for such an affordable product.
I know it's cool to talk about some edgy brands, that are hard to find or expensive. But once in a while, I think it is cooler to deal with mainstream product, we can all afford. You know that I am a huge fan of red lipsticks. So I tried the Rebel Red shade. All I have to say is that I was not disappointed!
THE REVIEW
This is for all these reasons that I decided to publish a non-sponsored review - just in case you were wondering - of the Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid.
The first thing coming in my mind is that it user-friendly. It is like using a gloss! I am clumsy, guys, really clumsy. Ok, I am good with eyeshadows and makeup on the eyes, because I have the habit to use those. However, when it comes to the lips, it is a whole other story. Actually I am never really satisfied with the result. So trust me when I say it is easy to use.
The second reason to use the Vivid Matte Liquid, to me, would be the texture and the pigments of the different shades. Just with one application, you'll see the difference compared to your nude lips. The texture is absolutely A-MA-ZING! It is super comfortable.
Finally, the result is awesome. The intensity of the shade is unbelievable. It is really photogenic. It is really, really nice! I have to say it creates some sexiness!

What kind of look?: Liquid lipstick makes your lips really, really, really present. So you need to have a really light makeup to keep an harmonious look. To show off the intensity of the lipstick shade, I go for natural look. For the look on the picture, I used a light cushion, a black khôl and mascara and some nude eyeshadows.
How to choose the color of your Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid?: Everyone will need a different color! Because everybody has different: skin tone, hair color, style, attitude,... Those will influence the shade that will suit you the best. For the look on the picture, I used a classic red shade: Red Rebel. If you're not comfortable with this color, go for browns or pinks. Oh and please don't be shy! Ask some piece of advice to the salesman or your friends, they will be more objective than you.
