LE CAMONDO: PARISIAN SUMMER IT PLACE
Every season has it new hits. Especially in Paris. Places where you hang, dance, kiss... Will they last? Only time will tell us. However, I bet that Le Camondo is here to stay.
Located in the beautiful and classy neighborhood of the Parc Monceau, Le Camondo is the restaurant to go have lunch or diner if your in Paris this summer. What makes it so special, it has become a it place in only few months? Well - where to start? Fist of all, I would say its terrace. I know hat you're thinking a terrace does not make a restaurant... But it is this particularity that distinguished Le Camondo from other restaurant in the first place. It is calm, elegant. Basically, it makes you feel that you're no longer in Paris.
The second reason is obviously the cooking of the young chef Alexis Le Tadic. Simply exquisite or is it simple and exquisite ? Both work. If you're a good lover, the whole menu will take you to paradise. If you're more a healthy kind of person, you will find tasty course corresponding to your diet. Best of both world. Are you still wondering why Le Camondo is here to stay?
Here are all the details about my experience - because eating is an experience - at Le Camondo.

What about the food? : Absolutely divine! Personally I love when a chef mixes influences but manage to keep the courses simple. Always with a twist but without being over complicated! Basically efficient. In the case of the Camondo, I wasn't deceived! The starters, the main courses and the dessert - created by Christophe Michalak himself - are delicate and at the same time gourmet.
.... And the drinks?: Are a wine lover ? Yes. Then go. Are you a cocktail lover ? Alcoholic or non alcoholic ? Yes. Then go. Le Camondo is not only a restaurant, it is a bar. Now that you know, what are you waiting for ? Go!
The service: Impeccable! Polite, listening to you, eager to have a laugh with you... Basically, perfect without being rigid. Totally in accordance with the chill atmosphere of the place.
Book or die: Like every trendy places, Le Camondo is packed. So you better book a table - especially for the terrace -, if you want to have lunch or diner there. When I went, I had to book my table a week in advance. Just saying....
