THE CRYOTHERAPY TEST
What a better idea than freezing yourself in winter? Did you say crazy? My answer is: cryotherapy! Yes my darling, last week I tried one of most talked-about health trends. And I have a lot to say about it. So fasten your sit belt and here we go!
First of all, what is cryotherapy? The idea is to go in a freezing booth during few minutes (3 for me). The temperatures drops down until -170° C - yeah talking in Celsius degrees here! I know that it sound extremely cold, and it was! But on the other hand, for only 3 minutes, it is kind of strange. Call me crazy but I liked it!
To try cryotherapy, I went to Cryoconsult, which is one of the only center in Paris ran by physiotherapists. There I met with Paul, who explained me the main benefits of cryotherapy, such as slimming down or sport recovery. Paul also presented me the two other cares performed at Cryoconsult: coolscupting and Phenix ML36.
Coolscupting is a local treatment using cool to reduce the specific fat areas of your body. The effects are supposed to be seen three to four weeks after the care. I tried it, so finger crossed! The Phenix ML 36 uses ultrasounds to slim down the body. To do so, you'll have to do around 6 sessions.
Verdict: I would 100% recommend cryotherapy, especially if you practice sports on a daily basis, and coolscupting.
Now that you know everything about my cryotherapy experience, here are some details that truly matter!
#DETAILSMATTER
Go for the experience: I truly recommend you to try cryotherapy or cryoscupting in a center ran by certified physiotherapists. We are talking about your body and health so don't go for a center that don't have any certification!
Be honest: To have the most efficient care, you have to be honest with the physiotherapist. By honest, I mean say clearly your needs and expectations, talk about your health problems and so on... This way the treatment would be adapted to yourself as well as the advice!
