VELVET TOUCH

Textures. What is your favorite one? Velvet is one of mine. I always love to have a little touch of velvet in my outfit. It can be a bit tricky to style. I know. The key is actually to choose wisely the color. The darkest the easiest it is to style and the timeless it is.

Therefore, I recommend you to go for dark velvet for the larger piece of clothing and lighter one in small touch. In the outfit I styled, I picked dark green velvet pants. It is echoed by the little touch on the Dolce & Gabbana sneakers. 

To style velvet, you have two options either go smooth all the way or twist it with other textures, such as leather. For this look, I chose the first option. I wanted to create a comfortable but stylish outfit. Thus, playing with smooth textures sounds like the good idea to obtain what I wanted.
