This is how I would describe Le Rouge Givenchy Edition Couture. Lately, I got to try the iconic lipstick in the Framboise Velours shade in its limited edition. The least I can say is that I wasn't disappointed. And the packaging is absolutely exquisite!
In few words, this is all I like when talking about lipsticks. A gorgeous and well-designed object and an intense and elegant shade. The kind of product which is all about details. Le Rouge Givenchy is typically the kind of makeup that will take your style to the next level!

THE REVIEW
Le Rouge is the iconic lipstick of Givenchy. And you know what? I totally understand why! Its texture is amazing. Super comfortable. It is almost as if I was applying velvet on my lips. The nicest point is that it is not drying your lips. Sometimes lipstick can be a bit dry especially for the mate shades. In the case of Le Rouge Givenchy, it is not happening thanks to the presence of honeycomb in its composition.
Then I must say the intensity of the shade is incredible. The work of Givenchy to create the shade is a true masterpiece. You can tell that it is highly pigmented providing intensity, but at the same time remaining elegant. Timeless. Powerful. This is a true lady lipstick!
Oh! I almost forget. The lipstick is not the only interesting thing in Le Rouge Givenchy Edition Couture - yes, COUTURE. The packaging, imagined by Nicolas Degennes, Givenchy Makeup and Colors artistic director, which is made of genuine leather, has been designed as a desirable object. The white crosses come from the recurrent inspirations of the Maison de Couture. Told you, beautiful inside out!
Would I recommend Le Rouge Givenchy Edition Couture? 100%! It is the kind of product everyone seeks for, especially lipstick lovers. It is colorful, intense and long-lasting. Perfect for makeup addicts!

What kind of look?: Liquid lipstick makes your lips really, really, really present. So you need to have a really light makeup to keep an harmonious look. To show off the intensity of the lipstick shade, I go for natural look. For the look on the picture, I used a light cushion, a black khôl and mascara and some nude eyeshadows.
Day or Evening? : Both my dear! By day or night, the delicate texture of Le Rouge will wrap your lips in softness. And at the same time, it will give a magnetic shade to your lips, turning them in elegant showstoppers. My tips? Vary the intensity. By day, apply a light touch of Le Rouge. By night, upgrade your game by intensifying it. But you're totally free to go the way round my dear. This the beauty of style! Or is it the style of beauty?
