Have you ever imagined being able to have lunch or diner in a single restaurant and have access to various chefs cooking? Well... Fulgurances did it, with a one-of-a-kind concept.
Every 2 months, there is a new chef coming in, bringing all its savoir-faire, experience and influences. Never boring, always surprising! I have to say, Fulgurances approach of gastronomy is one of the most refreshing and modern I have ever seen.
Why? First of all, you are able to eat absolutely exquisite recipes at a really affordable price - almost every chefs have worked in Michelin stared restaurants! Secondly, Fulgurances concept give their chance to shine to young chefs, who probably would be hidden behind superstar ones in traditional gastronomic restaurants.
Finally - like if you needed more reasons, my darling! -, at Fulgurances, thanks to the talent of the chefs, you will discover new tastes associations, which you have never seen before and that will blowing your mind!

What about the service?: You know how important the service is to me - a bad service can literally ruin the entire experience! When you enter in Fulgurances, you feel welcome. If you come early you'll even be given the luxury to choose your table! But is the service efficient ? Hell yeah! They have the perfect timings, while being super polite, attentive and warm. This way you do not feel pressured, but you don't have to wait either. That's really nice!
Atmosphere, atmosphere...: Located in a the trendy 11th arrondissement, Fulgurances is a calm and welcoming place with a really casual atmosphere. Perfect to grab a bite with friends and family! The lovely interior design brings edgy and rustic - yes it is somehow possible! - ambiance.
Is it as yummy as it looks?: The answer is YES! First of all, the menu is perfect and simple! It is basically a no brainer, as you won't spent hours reading it! Conceived by the chefs, the menu changes from day to day and chef to chef. You'll never get bored! And the tastes of the courses are unique. When I had lunch at Fulgurances, Sam Miller, who was the first chef to come work at this amazing restaurant, was there. And I got to try an amazing piece of beef and a delicious pear with yuzu as dessert.
What do we drink?: Even though you come to Fulgurances for the food, you will not be disappointed if you're a wine lover! They have an amazing selection of wines from all over the world - I tried a South African one. And they speak so well about them, that you won't resist!
I mean seriously, how many more reasons to go to Fulgurances do you need?
